I Got Future

During the many hours of self-isolation throughout numerous Covid-19 lockdowns, I started to jot down my thoughts about how this crisis and no doubt future crises will affect me. Then I added other topics beyond this crisis which will affect all of us in the future: - my next book project was born.  I researched topics like demographic developments, climate change, future technologies and international relations and how these would affect me in the next 20 years. It has been a 2-year start-stop and on-off process of structuring my thoughts. It was challenging to keep focussed on the purpose of the outlined story, as so many other issues and factors kept popping-up. Different editors helped me to hone on my book idea, making me revise and re-write the story a number of times.

Are you curious about how your life might look in twenty years?

Are you curious about how your life might look in twenty years? 〰️

Interweaving two decennia back and forth, building on his own cosmopolitan experiences, Frank Lucas identifies trends which will directly impact him in the last quarter of his life. International relations, demographic changes, migration, technology developments and climatic disruptions will change our lifestyles and impact all of us in different ways. Throughout this accessible narrative, the author explores the interrelationships of these themes and the impact these will have on his way of life in the next twenty years. Despite recent global crises and no doubt future events, which we do not know about yet, his view on the next two decades is positive and uplifting, building on his experience that people are resilient and will continue to improve the lives of ever more people on our earth. In his third book he outlines his view on his own and no doubt your lifestyle in the next two decades.
— Book cover

Dare I say; this book will prompt you to think about your own personal situation looking into the near future. Nobody has a magic crystal ball, but you can also extrapolate trends leading into the future based on your own experiences. If this book is predictive at all, at least it will prod you to take action. I also want to give a positive and upbeat outlook of the future amid so many negative news headlines which bombard us every day again and again.

Enjoy the read.
